Cache Valley in Utah Genius Awards 2010

The Utah Genius 2010 awards event was held on May 5, 2010, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The event recognizes creative people, companies, and cities in the Utah economy. Awards are based on statistics from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Logan, Utah was awarded as the fifth-highest city with patents awarded (53), and several cache valley cities were awarded with most patents per capita (2nd – paradise [1/129], 3rd – Hyde Park [1/170], 5th – Millville [1/228]).
Several cache valley inventors, companies, and organizations were also awarded in both patent and trademark fields.
